Cheryl Nowak

Hi! I am Cheryl Nowak. I am completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, anticipating graduation in December 2022. Before Northwestern, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Elmhurst College and have experience providing ABA therapy to children on the spectrum. My counseling experience includes children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals. I am currently working on my Trauma certification, and in the future, I am looking to become DBT certified and certified in Maternal Mental Health.

In session, I seek to provide a non-judgmental, safe space for people to experience all the thoughts and emotions that life creates for them. I am honored to be a support system for people, and  I look forward to working with you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself!
