"A therapy space where you give yourself grace"
-
What is therapy about? Most people come to see us because they have found themselves stuck in some way and have struggled to find a way out. It is our goal to teach you various psychological techniques and provide you with the resources to assist you with moving forward in your life.
-
What happens for the first appointment? After you have scheduled and received confirmation of your appointment, you will receive the required intake forms. We ask you to complete the intake documents prior to your initial appointment. Completing these forms prior to your first appointment allows for your therapist to learn more about you and your goals for therapy.
-
What insurance is accepted? We are in network with BCBS PPO, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
-
Are you able to use other insurance plans? For clients with other insurance, some plans provide different levels of out-of-network benefits. Contact your insurance company for more information about what they can offer. If needed, you will be provided with a receipt of services rendered.
-
How much are sessions with insurance? This will vary from plan to plan, and we will attempt to verify benefits prior to your first appointment. The best way to find your insurance benefits is to call the customer service number on the back of your card. We ask that any client payment amounts (including co-payments and coinsurance) be paid at the time of the session. We accept payments in cash and all major credit cards
-
Do you offer a sliding scale?Yes, we do. Sliding scale services are available on a limited basis.
-
What is the cancellation policy?Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur an automatic $80 charge. In the event of serious emergencies, please contact us and we will find a time to reschedule with you.
-
How long do sessions last? Each session is 50-55 minutes in length.
-
How frequent are appointments? For the first several sessions, it's ideal to have weekly appointments to help build a rapport and create the foundation for change. The therapist and client will then determine what schedule works best based on your goals for treatment.
